Randy
Prater is a native of western Kansas, and attended Fort Hays State University,
majoring in journalism/communications. He has been involved in the oilfield
service industry since 1977, with extensive oil well cementing, stimulation
and wireline logging and testing experience with Halliburton Company.
He became involved with polymer gels and other EOR methods in 1989 as
District Manager for Enhancement Services, Inc. In March, 1993, Mr. Prater
founded Polymer Services, LLC, and currently is President of that company.
PSI has extensive experience in field applications of polymer gels throughout
North America as well as international operations. Mr. Prater is currently
program chairman for the central Kansas Chapter of the Society of Petroleum
Engineers. In his off time, Randy enjoys travel, upland game hunting,
fishing and restoring classic muscle cars.
